On violation of the plant breeder’s rights, for example at illegal propagation or contract violation at sales without label, van Vliet New Plants acts actively and efficiently.
We will – if a mutual solution proves to be impossible – take the necessary legal steps, if necessary in conjunction with a lawyer specialized in plant breeders’ rights. Such steps may include in summoning the offender, seizure of plant material and / or business administration, destruction of plants or going to court. If necessary, prior botany or DNA studies are done to be able to determine whether there actually has been an infringement.
