'Spartan' has, interesting bright orange young shoots. The young orange shoots keep their color until late summer when they change to green. Platanus hispanica 'Spartan' is an easy-to-grow product. The plant requires not many labor and attention. Branches grow very upright and the tree is an easy growing plant. 'Spartan' is, in contrast to other Platanus hispanica varieties, very easy to propagate.
