Berberis thunbergii 'Volcano' (pbr) is part of the Berberis Neon series. This series is easy to recognise due to the spectaculair bright color-changing foliage.
The Berberis thunbergii 'Volcano' (pbr) has a strong upright habit. The new shoots are orange colored in spring. In summer the shoots change in color to red. The foliage has an even yellow edge. 'Volcano' (pbr) is not sensitive to sunburn.
