Berberis thunbergii Pink Pillar PBR is a vigorous, upright, and fast-growing barberry. Its natural growth habit is similar to 'Helmond Pillar'.
Pink Pillar has bright pink new shoots that remain pink for a long time. The older leaves of Berberis 'Pink Pillar' are pink, white, and red. In autumn, the leaves turn dark red.
Berberis 'Pink Pillar' PBR is excellent for hedges or as a border planting. Combined with 'Helmond Pillar', Berberis 'Pink Pillar' (pbr) creates a beautiful contrast.
