Berberis thunbergii 'Neon Gold' (pbr) is part of the Berberis Neon series. This series is easy to recognise due to the spectaculair bright color-changing foliage.
Berberis thunbergii 'Neon Gold' (pbr) has an upright habit. The new shoots are orange colored in spring. In summer the foliage changes in color to bright yellow.
'Neon Gold' (pbr) is not sensitive to sunburn.
